Snow is expected to taper off in the Denver area after midnight Friday; second band moves in Saturday
Forecasters say south Denver metro will continue getting hit with the Front Range’s heaviest snow Friday as storm systems expected to bring cold, wet weather to the region through Sunday settle in.
“Portions of Elbert County have already gotten 6 inches,” said Kari Bowen, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Boulder. “Parts of the Palmer Divide area and Park County are probably going to see the highest amounts.”
